The Arkle Chase is not noted for creating shocks. The winner of this race is usually a horse from a top stable, with previous good form at the Cheltenham Festival, they usually have good recent form and more often than not they are in the top three or four in the Arkle Trophy Chase odds. It is of course possible that an outsider could take the honours but we would advise against backing one.
