Arkle Trophy 2007 Result

It was yet another victory for trainer Alan King in 2007, with his brilliant, My Way de Solzen, who won emphatically by five lengths with Choc Thornton on board. The horse had won the Ladbroke World Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival the year before over three miles, so it was an even better performance than people may think after coming back in trip to win this over the 2 mile course. Phillip Hobbs was somewhat despondent after his horse, Fair Along, got badly bumped due to the race having had to be restarted. He ran gamely and jumped well but the bump cost him everything at the start. Hobbs felt the result may have been different had they started first time. The same argument was applied to the 4th horse, Faasel, he was in a great starting position on the false start but always had too much ground to make up on the restart. Third home was Mick Fitzgerald on board, the Nicky Henderson trained, Jack the Giant. 2009 Arkle Trophy Champion Chase Bookmakers betting offers.
